The Things Girls Talk About

If you know me at all you know that I am married, in my jr. year of college, and have three dogs. You also may know I get some really hot baby fever every now and again. I work at a bank with mostly girls so we talk a lot.

One day on my way home from school I was thinking to myself.

I though, "Self, you maybe graduating a year from this coming spring, you are going to be 23 years old and hopefully get a job that spring for the coming fall. But if you don't graduate in the spring you wont get a job until you are 24 years old. So from there if you are 24 you will teach for 2 or three years and then at most you'll be 27 years old. At 27 years old you'll start having a baby at the latest. Great!"

So the following day I went to work and told this plan to one of my close friends. She then said to me "Will you try to plan it out so you'll have your baby during the summer so you can spend all that time with it?" and I said "Yeah! Great idea. When would I have to get prego to do that" She then did the simple math and said "August, September at the latest." I was then pumped because that put the cherry on top of my beautiful plan.

I then proceeded to go home and tell my husband. He then looked at me and was like "Wow, I though you guys just worked with money all day" I then said, "True but money gets me thinking about babies, because we are going to need a lot of it."

I know that I am young but I am emotionally ready for a baby, I want one really bad but I know I'm not mentally, physically, financially, anything that ends with "ly" ready for a baby and therefore go as plan unless God intervene and lets me know of a better one :-D

I Cannot Wait To Be A Teacher

I cannot wait to be a teacher.

This is my first sememster of doing observations, real ones anyway. This summer I did some observations but they were not in a classroom setting. It is very interesting how different children act under authority and under no restrictions.

So this past week has been absolutely amazing. I was really nervous about doing my observations. I know I was going to make a good impression on the principal and the teacher but I was more concerned about the students. I haven't spent much time with younger children other than my siblings and children from church, I was afraid I wouldn't make a good impression on them. I know that I love children but until this week I was afraid they wouldn't love me.

I am so glad that fear is gone. I love the children calling me Mrs. and my last name it was so cute. Some of the children also asked me, "Will you be my teacher someday?" I told them, "Hopefully!" All of this just reinforced my desire to be a teacher. I really hope that I will be a good one. :-)

Interesting Day

So this week has been an interesting one.
My car is acting really retarted. For some reason it even when my keys are out of the ignition the car thinks that they are still there. So the car beeps letting know I'm forgetting my keys and when I try to lock the car manually it will not lock. Really weird.

Today my favorite backpack broke. Pretty unfortunate because it was my favorite backpack. I mean it's no big deal, it's just a backpack but all the same.

Also I found out today that my biological father Pat will not be able to come up tomorrow to see me. His games got canceled so he cannot come up unfortunately.

But what I realize is that my life is good. Things are really good and these are all just petty things that I will get over here in a few minutes or days. My life will always have it's ups and downs and I will be joyful in the Lord.
